DJ Taz is an all-round DJ who feels just as comfortable at a wedding or corporate event as he does in a packed club or at a large-scale event. That versatility is exactly what sets him apart. No fixed sets or standard playlists, but reading the crowd, feeling what the moment needs and adapting the music accordingly.
Music has been part of Taz’s life from an early age. Growing up with a professional drummer as a father, he was surrounded by music and started DJing at a young age himself. Now, with more than 15 years behind the decks, he has built up an extensive musical knowledge that allows him to move effortlessly between different genres, generations and audiences.
His style is energetic, musical and, above all, accessible. From recognizable classics and disco to today’s biggest tracks, dance, house and everything that fits naturally in between. Taz loves keeping the energy and flow going with smooth transitions, but also knows when to give the music and the crowd some room to breathe. No two nights are the same, and for him, reading the crowd is what makes the difference.
Over the years, Taz has performed at a huge variety of events, from weddings and corporate parties to large public and brand events. He has played for companies including KLM, Nespresso and Bolsius, and can also regularly be found as stadium DJ for Excelsior Rotterdam. Across various events and productions, he has shared the stage with well-known artists and acts including Vengaboys, René Froger, the Edwin Evers Band, Yves Berendse, Emma Heesters, Xander de Buisonjé, Jeroen van der Boom and Rolf Sanchez.
That combination of experience, technical skill, broad musical knowledge and a strong feel for the crowd makes DJ Taz a versatile choice for almost any event. Whether the night needs to build gradually or hit the ground running, it ultimately comes down to one thing: playing exactly the right music at exactly the right moment.
Familiar when it needs to be, surprising when it can be, and always bringing energy behind the decks.
